Introducing the pride of Busoga, a true son of the Kyabazinga’s land, and the only man who can make a Toyota FX dance like it’s auditioning for Uganda’s Got Talent Sadat Negomba.
Sadat has been around the rally block more times than a boda-boda during rush hour. From dusty straights to muddy bends, he’s seen it all and sometimes upside down, like that “soft roll” in Mbarara. (We’re calling it soft because the car rolled with grace… )
But rallying isn’t about how you fall it’s about how dramatically you get back up, dust off the FX, slap on a sticker or two, and head to the next rally with confidence and a “let’s just finish this one” attitude.
This year, Sadat teams up with Zubeda Abdallah, a sharp and focused co-driver who’s not just navigating the roads but also making sure Sadat doesn’t take “shortcuts” through the bushes. Together, they form a balanced duo: one who drives with flair, and one who reads the notes like she’s defusing a bomb.
Their goal for the Shell V-Power Pearl of Africa Uganda Rally 2025 is refreshingly simple: “get to the finish line in one piece and bag those sweet 2WD points.” No wild heroics, just clean, smart racing though if there’s a jump and some fans cheering, don’t be surprised if Sadat gives them a little airtime magic.
