 PROFILE & AMBITIONS

Yasin Nasser isn’t just one of Uganda’s leading rally drivers,he’s the man whose right foot deserves its own fan club. Known for his blistering speed, machine-like consistency, and the kind of determination that could scare a lion off a zebra steak, Nasser has become the engine room of the Moil Rally Team.

Ever since he got his hands on the Ford Fiesta R5, he’s been treating rally fans to a masterclass in high-speed wizardry. And let’s not forget his co-driver, the ever-composed Ali Katumba the only man who can read pace notes faster than most of us read text messages, all while Nasser dances the car sideways through sugarcane and chaos.

Together, they’ve bagged two national rally championships and now have their eyes (and helmets) locked on the grand prize: the Africa Rally Championship (ARC) title. Think of it as the Fast & Furious: East African Drift edition but with actual maps and way less CGI.

With third place already in the bag from the ARC season opener, Nasser is charging into the Pearl of Africa Uganda Rally like a man on a mission Armed with home-ground advantage, a battle-tested R5, and nerves of titanium, Yasin is not just a contender he’s the storm warning on the ARC weather radar.

If you blink during this rally, you might just miss him flying past like a turbo-charged whisper. So buckle up Yasin Nasser is out to turn gravel into glory, and Uganda’s flag might just get a front-row seat on the continental podium.
