A household name in Ugandan motorsport, 2010 National Rally Champion Nasser Mutebi is one of the fastest men to ever tame the gravel. Ever since his comeback last year, he’s been in blistering form when the car cooperates, that is. Known for pushing machines to their limit (and sometimes beyond), Nasser now steps into a Mitsubishi Evo X for this year’s Shell V-Power Pearl of Africa Uganda Rally, leaving behind his temperamental Evo 9 R4.
Alongside him, as always, is his loyal co-driver Steven Bunya better known in rally circles as Stingo a man whose pace notes are so detailed, they probably come with footnotes.
