Dr. Moustapha Mukasa is what happens when you mix adrenaline with antibiotics. By day, he’s saving lives with a scalpel; by weekend, he’s trying not to roll a rally car like a bad ankle. Dr. Moustapha continues to make a name for himself in the motorsport scene. After a remarkable 2024 season that saw him finish 9th overall in the Pearl Rally and nearly clinch the 2024 National Rally Championship title, Mukasa returns for the 2025 edition with renewed determination.
Though the start of his 2025 season has been rockier than a Karamoja stage retiring in the opening round in Mbarara and skipping the second ,Dr. Moustapha Mukasa is back in action with a rebuilt and fully revived Mitsubishi Evo 9. He’s set to compete in the ARC class at this year’s Shell V-Power Pearl of Africa Uganda Rally, marking a major comeback move in his 2025 campaign. Let’s just say the doctor is in… and this time, he brought horsepower and a vengeance.
Teaming up with experienced co-driver Omar Mayanja, the duo is focused on two key objectives: earning their first national championship points of the season and securing valuable ARC points as they begin their regional title pursuit.
With support from Equity Bank and the Drugs Express, Dr. Moustapha Mukasa enters the event as a strong contender, ready to deliver a competitive performance on home soil.
