This is a man who needs no introduction ,but we’re giving him one anyway. Karan Patel: Kenya’s flying beast, Uganda’s rallying nightmare, and the guy you really don’t want starting behind you on the road order.
Patel has been on an absolute rampage in the African Rally Championship, already bagging two consecutive ARC titles like he’s collecting Pokémon cards. Alongside his calm and collected co-driver Tauseef Khan, this duo is starting to feel more like a precision military operation than a rally team. After finally saying goodbye to his loyal Ford Fiesta R5, Patel recently upgraded to the Skoda Fabia R5 a machine that sounds fast even when it’s parked.
But don’t let the shiny new car fool you, Karan is still that guy. The reigning Pearl of Africa Uganda Rally champion is not here for sightseeing. He’s here for two things:
1. To defend his ARC title
2. To defend his Pearl of Africa Rally win
